Our Philosophy

It’s an honor:

• Over 20-30 people have touched these coffee beans before we receive them, all of whom have done an exceptional job.  It is an honor for us to continue the practice of excellence.
• Like fine wines and chocolates, coffee holds the flavors of where and how they are grown.  Since taste and smell are such strong sensory experiences, coffee gives us a way of experiencing Mother Earth’s brilliance and vitality, celebrate her beauty and bounty, and gives us moments of enjoyment.  It is an honor to meticulously roast these beans to bring out the flavors of the equator, rainforests, volcanoes, and lands of spices, fruit, grass – her many gifts.
• Sustainability and No Chemicals are big requirements of ours.  We are honored to support indigenous farmers, tribes, cooperatives who take care of the great blue marble.
• Taste and freshness are paramount.  Quality, in-season beans and fresh roasts immediately delivered gives you fabulous coffee.  Once again, it’s an honor and fun!
